FAQ

Reputation is a numeric value calculated by how many times a question or answer that you have posted gets voted up or down.

Questions and Answers can be voted UP or DOWN to give them a popular or unpopular rating. In order to vote a question or answer UP, you must be a registered user with a reputation of at least 1. In order to vote something DOWN, you must have a reputation of 10. This is to ensure our system does not get abused so our community does not become unbalanced maliciously.

The small, square picture located to the left of a member’s username is called an avatar. Our website makes use of an online avatar manager called Gravatar. Gravatar allows users to keep the same avatar anywhere they register on the internet (with the same email address!) that is capable of supporting Gravatars. To upload and create your free Gravatar (which will appear here on our website within 15 minutes), please visit gravatar.com.
