Community Rules

The intention of our website, HiramsGuide.com is to provide a friendly question and answer community relating Freemasonry. We encourage questions that would fall under the designated categories we have created, with users adding tags, or keywords, to categorize them more specifically. All submissions to our website are moderated by our staff.

When Asking Questions

• Please do not use vulgar, abusive, threatening, hateful, harassing, obscene, defamatory, or profane language.
• Make sure you are posting your question in the most appropriate category for your question.
• Please be as descriptive as possible when asking your question, try to use proper capitalization and punctuation as it will help others understand you better.
• Use our TAGS form field by adding specific keywords that best describe your question.

When Providing Answers

• Please do not use vulgar, abusive, threatening, hateful, harassing, obscene, defamatory, or profane language.
• We appreciate you using a positive and upbeat attitude when answering questions, and trying to be as supportive of other members as possible.
• Make sure you are posting an appropriate answer to the question, and be as accurate as possible.

Reputation System and Rating Other Users

• Please rate other user’s questions and answers appropriately, and do not abuse the system for personal gain or revenge.

• As a member of our website you are agreeing NOT to post any content (whether it’s your words or other material) that violates any law, is vulgar, abusive, threatening, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, pornographic, invasive of someone’s privacy, defamatory, or copyrighted by someone else, or in violation of any obligations you may have taken.
• This community is NOT to be used to post free advertising, solicitations, or self promotion, specifically within the body of a question or answer, your avatar or profile. This community is NOT for giving or seeking medical or legal advice.
• Freedom of Speech rights do not apply to this privately owned community. Members of HiramsGuide.com must follow these Community Rules, which members agree to upon sign up. Violating the guidelines may result in membership suspension or permanent lock out. Our guidelines are updated regularly and without notice, it is your responsibility as a member to check these guidelines regularly.
• Our staff reserves the right to edit or delete any question or answer posting made by any member that is violating our Community Rules or is deemed inappropriate by our staff. We also reserve the right to keep any postings which are made to our community. Please be aware of what you are posting and do not post personal contact information on our public board as your post may remain in our database forever.
• All decisions of a violation occurring are at the discretion of HiramsGuide.com staff.
